We have been very interested in learning about birds as part of our John Clare poetry topic. Come and see (and listen!) to our new interactive display.
We have focused on our personal, social and emotional development this week and are very proud to report that visitors to the classroom have remarked on how well the children get on and how caring they are towards each other.
In Science, we have been investigating birds in our local area. We had to be really quiet on our birdwatch so we didn’t frighten them away!
The children are enjoying looking after their new plants in the Buttercross garden.
Torpel Class have been busy learning about microbes. We have designed and made our own bacteria, viruses or fungi out of modelling clay!
Torpel had great fun this morning investigating reversible and irreversible changes!
Well done to all of our children who took part in the Peterborough SumDog mathematics competition. We were really pleased to find out that we were placed 3rd overall with daily wins on Tuesday and Wednesday!
