Welcome to John Clare! We want to make the transition to school as smooth and as successful as possible.  Once children know they have been offered a place at our school, they will receive a welcome pack which contains lots of information, ideas for learning and a welcome storybook.

We have also compiled a Padlet of resources and ideas for parents and careers so that your child has all the skills they need to make an excellent start in their school journey.  We hope you find these resources helpful, but if you have any questions during the transition phase, please speak to our Early Years team during our New Parents' Information Evening or during one of your 'Stay and Play' transition visits.
